Hotel description

The hotel was built in an old banana plantation that belongs to a private property dated the 19th century. It's 12000 m2 of gardens and exhuberant vegetation create a magnificent big green window very close to the centre of the town. Quinta da Casa Branca is a heaven of peace and tranquility. A fascinating combination of contemporary elegance and modern authenticity in its architectural design. Be welcome. The Hotel will close from the 19th of November 2007 to the 2nd of December 2007. From 3rd December to 15th December the Hotel re-opens except for ongoing improvements in some of its Standard Rooms. From the 16th December to 6th January 2008, no remodeling works will take place during this period. From the 7th January 2008 up to February 2008 will be the conclusion of remodeling works in some Standard Rooms, bathrooms.

Hotel facilities: 2 restaurants, 2 bars, Health Club with free access to sauna, jacuzzi, turkish bath, gym and relaxation room, Phytocéane Spa with facial and body treatements, hot stone therapy (SPA packages also available), outdoor and heated swimming pool, library/lounge and free internet corner. The hotel also offers 20% discount on green-fees at both golf courses on the island,Santo da Serra and Palheiro. Transfers from and to the airport can be arranged upon request (paybale).

Gourmet and a la carte restaurant "Casa da Quinta" - situated in the old manor house dated the 18th century, classical style, Portuguese and Mediterranean cuisine, Fausto Airoldi is our Consultant Chef since 2004. Open for dinner from 19h00 to 22h30. Restaurant "Garden Pavilion" - contemporary and modern style, service of breakfast and lunch, drinks and snacks are also served. Open from 07h30 to 16h00. Deck Bar and Reception Bar - situated behind the reception, service of drinks and snacks, Full Afternoon Tea served from 15h00 to 18h00, open till 00h00.
